The Jhargram Police District has started w.e.f 15.01.2010 as per vide Govt. Order No. 210-PL/PB/IJ-06 dated.15.01.2010 of Home Police Department, West Bengal and Police Office, Jhargram Police District administrative unit function has been created by 09.04.2010. 

Actual Strength :- HA- 01, Accountant- NIL, Cashier- 01, Steno- 01, UDC- 01, LDC- 02, Duftry- NIL & Gr. “D”- 02

Activation of works: 1) Establishment, 2) Mooting all proposals, 3) Maintenance Files of SRE/SIS/Model Police Station /Installation Telephone / Electrification, 4) Correspondence reg., 5) Audit, 6) Inspections of Superiors, 7) Supervision over Police Office matters, 8) Works entrusted other then Police Office Works, 9) Telephone Bills, 10) Function of Furniture.

Activation of works: P.A to Superintendent of Police & Addl. Superintendent of Police, Jhargram Police District.

Shri Kanchan Kumar Das (UDC), Cashier, CA- II & Office Library:

Activation of works: Any letter from correspondence Court, Maintenance of Registers and dealing with the all Court matter, Summons and Warrants / Disposal of Order Sheet and register and file of Post Mortem/Maintenance of RTI Act. , Public petition / Miscellaneous and Maintenance of Registers and dealing with all the matters. Maintenance of registers of Explosive License / Storage License, Police Cost for Bank escorts, All types of Office requisition.

Smt. Kalpana Hansda(Tudu), UDC,  RC-I & Dispatch Section:

Activation of works: Maintenance of DG Register, S.P Register and all type of paper receipt in Miscellaneous/R.L/M.P registers, all Correspondence Register’s with CRPF / Army department, Maintenance of registers of Vernacular Dispatch, Maintenance of registers of English Dispatch / Pending list and other misc official works.

Shri Mintu Ghosal   (LDC), Acting GOA & Forms Clerk:

Activation of works: All works of Gazetted Officers & All types of requisition from Jhargram Police District and maintenance Stock Registers.

Shri Dipankar Bhattarchya(LDC), C.A-I,  Org. dispatcher  &  Office Canteen:

Activation of works: Any letter from range DIG(MR), IG(WZ),  and any Officer of range , CM(WB)/ DM/AG(WB) /  HRB, Women Commission, any Sister Agency, EB / SIB / CBI/CID / IB, West Bengal and other Officers, Any letter from PD and any Officers of PD /Maintenance of Registers of Absconder /Motor Accident Claim Case/ Crime Index / Jatra performance / Functions / Preparation of Crime figure / Statement with the help of DCRB / Gun License, Police Cost other than Jatra Performance / functions.

Activation of works: Assists to CA – II for maintenance of Registers.

Manasi Ghosh (Gr. – “D” Staff), work at Dispatch Section:

Activation of works: Maintenance of ORG Registers.
